CORVEX IS 6×5-400 – 1800 RPM
Horizontal, end-suction, single-stage centrifugal pump for clean water (or similar liquids), built to ISO 2585 performance/dimensions. Rear pull-out design for easy service; supplied with either packing or mechanical seal.
Key features (from the manual)
-
Model code: IS150-125-400 → 150 mm inlet, 125 mm outlet, 400 mm impeller; 6×5 size, 1800 RPM.
-
Rear pull-out construction: service the rotating assembly without removing casing or suction/discharge piping.
-
Two sealing options: packed-gland (with packing ring/sleeve) or mechanical seal; O-rings and shaft sleeve detailed.
-
Clockwise rotation (viewed from drive end); elastic coupling to the motor.
-
Applications: industrial water supply, drainage, and irrigation; IS to ~80 °C (ISR hot-water variant to ~105 °C).
The IS(R) series are single-suction, single-stage (axial-suction) centrifugal pumps intended for industrial water supply, drainage, and irrigation. They handle clean water or liquids with similar chemical/physical properties. Standard IS service temperature is up to about 80 °C; the ISR hot-water version is indicated up to about 105 °C. The manual for the IS150-125-400 (6×5) 1800 RPM variant references ISO 2585 performance and dimensional conformity.
Construction & components. The pump uses a horizontal, rear pull-out arrangement: maintenance can be performed by disconnecting the coupling; removal of the casing or suction/discharge piping is not required. The rotating assembly comprises the impeller, shaft, and rolling bearings; the casing/cover form the pump chamber. To balance radial forces, seal rings are used and balance holes may be provided in the impeller back shroud (some versions without balance holes are noted). Major parts listed include casing, seal ring, impeller, cover, shaft, bearings, coupling, and either packing/gland components or a mechanical seal.
Installation & alignment. The manual details baseplate preparation, grouting, and alignment steps. Coupling parallel/angle difference is specified at ≤ 0.05; an earlier step notes outline coupling error ≤ 0.1 mm and coupling-to-coupling clearance ≤ 0.3 mm before final hot alignment. Piping must be self-supported (no nozzle loads), and check-valve placement is noted.
